Billing FAQ
Is HSN code mandatory on a hardware shop's GST invoice?
For B2B invoices, yes. Businesses with annual turnover up to ₹5 crore must show at least a 4-digit HSN code, and above ₹5 crore a 6-digit code. See our GST invoice format guide for the full list of fields, and confirm your case with your CA.
Does NANDIX generate e-invoices (IRN)?
Not yet. E-invoicing is mandatory only for businesses above ₹5 crore annual turnover, which covers very few retail hardware shops. If you need it, tell us when you register.
Can I give contractors a better rate?
Today you can give a discount on any bill, as a percentage or a fixed amount. Tell us how you price your contractors when you register, because we're building around real shops' needs.
Can more than one staff member bill at the same time?
Yes. Each staff member logs in with their own PIN, and bill numbers stay in sequence without duplicates.
